Kathie -- Join Georgia Canoe Assoc. (GCA) - get more out of kayaking - check out their website for classes and fun group trips. I own a Wilderness Systems Tsunami 145 Duralite and Pungo 120. I use the Pungo on Class I & II rivers -- I can easily maneuver it -- the Tsunami for everything else, although I have taken the Tsunami on many Class II rivers w/ success, but w/ difficulty. I put a small floatation bladder in my Pungo's bow in case I "go swimming." Have FUN!!!

Kathie -- Woohoo . . . I see you are kayaking now. It'd be a good thing to join Georgia Canoe Association and get good, inexpensive classes (typically in summer), make friends, paddle more with good people. SYOTR!
